My teaching method is that the pupil is the star of the show, I will cater to the ends and requests of the students needs and ability, with a constant positive attitude towards learning. I remember what it was like at school struggling to understand a subject, but through my own determination I taught myself when others couldn't which is why I believe I am such a great tutor because I am more approachable and understanding than what most people are used to.
I am an engineering student, and although I have new to official banner of tutor, I used to teach kids at a chess club (ages 8-12) and have taught many friends maths throughout my school years from Year 10-Year 13, drastically improving their result. For 11+ to GCSE students.

2018-2020 Waiter/Bartender M18/Social Dhaba
My most recent job was as a bartender/waiter in a bar-restaurant/club. I thoroughly enjoyed this job as it taught me how to interact and conversate with different people from various walks of life and allowed me to express my creative side. When I started at this establishment I joined as waiter and was soon promoted to bar-back staff, I then worked in both of these roles until my 18th birthday where after a year and a half of training and studying, I was promoted to a bartender role. During my two years’ experience within this industry I have learnt to work in a fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail and improved my interpersonal skills.
2018-2018 Crew Worker McDonalds
I worked at McDonalds for 10 months. This was a very demanding role, but it taught me many great skills that I now can apply in any workplace, such as the ability to deal with conflict, managing deliveries, processing legal forms for the branch and training new employees. I worked in both the kitchen and front/till area, where it was constantly busy, working in such a fast-paced environment taught me how to priorities and how to delegate work to others when required but it also taught me the importance of teamwork.
2017-2017 Crew member More Energy Fitness Centre
My time at More Engery Fitness Centre was a week’s work experience organised by myself. This role required me to have an in-depth knowledge of the gym schedule in a short period of time, this knowledge included the closing and opening times, how machines operated and functioned, and which muscles they worked. In addition to being required to have knowledge on the management of the gym my key responsibilities included, cleaning the gym machines and equipment, answer incoming phone calls, organise bookings and different classes, prepare rooms for classes, systematise my own workout and circuit sheet and deal with customers.
2013-2015 Assistant Teacher
I have been fortunate to have had a diverse range of work experience, including my first job at 11 years old working as an assistant chess teacher for young kids. Working with young children taught me how to inspire and encourage people and gave me a very community-based attitude towards people - these qualities have remained with me till this day.
