Neal Craig is a very talented actor and a Tutor. Very friendly and polite. I have worked with him and I highly recommend him as a great Tutor and acting couch. He is very good at script analysis, monologues and audition techniques.

I started my weekly voice training lessons with Neil after I had just moved to the UK and had been just about starting to look for a job. I am a project manager and good vocal skills and clear communication is a must. The problem I faced at the moment was a difficulty to articulate in uncomfortable situations - sort of a panic which impacts one’s voice. Moreover, having English as a second learned language wasn’t helping at all. Neil came up with a very good plan to help me achieve my goals. Each class consisted of two parts - the first comprised relaxation exercises based on Alexander technique to overcome anxiety and re-gain control over my voice, and the second - practical training to improve vocal clarity. Neil was also great in keeping the right pace of the lessons and I started to feel that I was making baby yet noticeable steps after several weeks. One more thing I liked about his approach is exercises when one ‘visualises’ how sound is being produced and how it is moving in space - I found it to be very helpful for controlling the voice. So I will certainly recommend Neil as a voice tutor - just to mention I did find a job quite soon and fully acknowledge that Neil’s lessons contributed a lot to my confidence to do that.

As an actress in training, I often find myself surrounded by many contradicting opinions on how I should approach my future in this industry, which has often made me tentative and fearful of the acting world. Thankfully, I have been fortunate enough to participate in several one-to-one session with Neal, who has thoughtfully and thoroughly been by my side throughout this journey. Neal is a fountain of knowledge and I have highly benefited from his many years of experience as a working actor. He is also an incredibly empathetic individual, who has been great at creating a safe space for young actors to open up without fear of being judged. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Neal, who I now refer to not only as my acting mentor, but as a dear friend, and I would highly recommended him to anyone who wishes to seriously commit to the acting profession.
