Given English’s embracing of the ‘no right answer’ ethos, I am a believer of letting the student guide the lesson. I am patient, encouraging, and a good listener, so I will lead the tutoring through a series of practice questions and close readings. A lesson will typically last 45 minutes/1 hour, although double lessons can be booked if the student prefers longer lessons. These are to suit secondary school students preparing for exams, or sixth formers. Shorter lessons are available for younger, primary schoolers. I can assist with reading and understanding the texts they are given, as well as administering spelling tests.
