About Rachael
I have been studying the flute for 21 years. I have been in band and choir and received private lessons for 5 years. I have preformed at numerous concerts over the years. I have just begun to offer flute lessons and have taught one student so far. I found it really enjoyable to watch my student go from never having held an instrument before to playing songs and can't wait to teach others!

I will guide and teach my students how to play the flute using video chat. The first few lessons usually consist of teaching my students how to produce a sound with the instrument while also showing them how to hold the instrument. Students will also be learning the fingerings for each note and how to read music. Once students have mastered the basics we can move on to the fun part: learning how to play songs! I recommend students be at least 10 years old so their fingers will be large enough to reach the keys comfortably.
