I am a highly creative Early Career teacher. I have a degree in Primary Education (KS1/KS2) with qualified teacher status. I have had the pleasure of working in primary schools alongside other qualified teachers during my degree, where I taught children from the ages of 5-11. I enjoy implementing fun into my lessons to heighten engagement. For maths, I tend to use a mastery approach to underpin pupils' thinking, which encourages pupils to make connections between concepts. During my English lessons, I use high-quality literature to aid pupils' understanding of concepts. I enjoy using these texts as a springboard for my lessons. A typical length of my lesson is an hour, typically including a hook, input, practice and plenary. My lessons focus purely on KS1/KS2 content.
