I've been a professional graphic designer for over 35 years. I've been an art director, marketing specialist, managing editor, and cartoonist. I love communicating visually and I love working with people.
I'm a fan of art, science, and history. Where they all converge for me is my passion for 20th Century media. Books, music, movies, TV, radio, comic strips, comic books. I'm a nerd of the first order.

I tailor my approach to accommodate my students' needs, first establishing a starting point for what they need and already know. Then, they are free to explore materials and ideas, while I provide constructive feedback on their designs, encouraging them to elevate their work and progress to the next stage.
Standard Lesson Structure (45 minutes - 1 hour):
— Introduction to the project (5 minutes)
— Demonstration of the project, providing instructions, examples, and outlining required materials (10 minutes)
— Studio work session with supervision and feedback (30-40 minutes)
— Wrap-up and discussion of next steps (10 minutes)
