Art and Design subjects are generally quite broad in how they are presented at GCSE and A2 level, therefore I will provide you with the skills to: - fluently evaluate your own work - crtically write about the work of other artists using sought after vocabulary and technical terms - structure and present your work in a cohesive way - gather research and generate ideas for your own work and...
My teaching method is structured on each student’s need. In the first meeting I want to learn more about my student, to see their portfolio or drawings, to get a clear picture about what is needed to be taught. Then, depending on the student, I will have special teaching method. I’ve worked with 5 year old children up to 40year olds, so I know how to make a plan for everyone.
My teaching method is fun and inclusive. I like the students to work with me step by step. I am keen to answer questions along the way and I welcome new and insightful ideas, proposals and techniques. It is important that the student develops their own flair when practising art, and that they find their own sense of individuality.
I like to bring fun to my lessons! I am very patient and open to abilities of all backgrounds for advice and art techniques. I plan and guide my lessons depending on what the student would like to learn and open to all suggestions in any topics / areas they would like help and guidance on.

I base my classes specifically on the student's desirable focus and level. The classes will be more practical than theoretical because I believe this is the best way for students to adopt skills. I am extremely patient, so do not worry about making mistakes. I'd love to help you improve; that's what I am for.
With teaching, I like to work on something that the student is passionate about. We all make our best work when we care about it, so ensuring that the student is working with a medium and/or subject matter that they enjoy and care about is paramount to both their learning and progression.
My teaching method is person-centred. I tailor my lessons depending on the needs of the client/student. I can teach traditional drawing techniques as well as abstract paintings. I can combine live music and movements in the lesson where you will draw/paint after moving or painting to a piece of live music I perform.
I advocate a cooperative approach in my lessons, encouraging the student to direct their own learning, planning lessons informed by their aspirations and motivation. Using creative scaffolding techniques, I help students to develop their unique style, while learning about the influential artists, history, theory and techniques.
The duration and direction of our lessons together will depend on your current level of ability and expertise. We can discuss exactly what you would like to get out of your tutorials with an informal consultation so I can create a lesson plan specialised just for you.
The student can choose from any of the sketching or painting mediums. She or he will learn the basics of sketching, watercolour, acrylic or charcoal painting techniques. Once the basics are covered, we’ll move on to lessons in painting different subjects. Depending on the level and the interest of the student, they will be encouraged and tutored.
I am 26 and offer lessons to people of all abilities, whether it be a child of 4 or an adult of 94. I have many topics pre-planned with steps lined out, but I can plan new lessons based on the desires of the student(s). I have tutorial sheets I have made that can be used as well for further reference.
I provide private painting and drawing tuition for beginners to advanced, children and adults. You can study one-to-one, with a friend or in a group, and each lesson is specifically tailored to your individual needs. A comprehensive lesson to sharpen your life drawing skills and painting skills.
My teaching method is first explaining the theory and relating the classes to the history and origin of the techniques we are going to use. I base my classes on observing the surrounding environment and interpreting it on our own way, after wich improving free hand drawings, sketches and paintings using variety of materials.
Art should be fun! Adults in particular are often worried that they're "no good at art" because they "don't know how to draw" but I can teach you (a) that this isn't true, and (b) that you can if you want to once you learn how! I work in a variety of 2D and 3D materials and am happy to provide a scheme of work which ups your general skill level or focuses on a particular area of interest or...
I approach each teaching session as individual as each of my students. And each session may require a different angle to which it is delivered to ensure a full and rewarding outcome.
I pride myself on delivering highly entertaining and informative tuition. I am methodical in my preparation and spend a great deal of time devising a sylabus. My approach is very hands on, I discuss caricature theory, spending time demonstrating producing a live caricature of someone in the group, before letting the students loose on an unsuspecting subject.
My objective as a teacher is to motivate my students to develop their own interests and creative thinking, stimulate them to develop their talents and help to reach their goals. Our lessons will be intensive and fun at the same time.
Whether working with groups or individuals I like to explore the potential of each student. This may include team or individual projects with emphasis on the needs of each student whether they have some experience or complete beginners.
I aim to improve my students' understanding and use of the formal elements, and build confidence in their abilities. This engenders an openness to experimenting, creating a breadth of more diverse and interesting work. I also help with essay-writing and annotating (the less exciting parts of the course), ensuring that the student can analyse work that is both their own and established artists'.
Ive found its helpful being given examples and inspiration when you are trying to learn about this and practice, so i can reccommend artists for research, offer differnt medium techniques and help you develop creatively as an artist as i do so myself .
I believe anyone can draw. It’s all about imparting the techniques and skills and giving students the confidence to put those into use. With practise and knowledge comes confidence and the ability to expand their creativity.
I do not have a standardized approach but will devise a plan of action according to each individual students strengths and weaknesses and their desired goals, helping them to develop the most creative approaches to the art and design briefs their courses set them.
Art lessons are student centred and tailored to suit student interests and ability. Lessons are designed to be inspiring, challenging and engaging. I have taught KS2- A level across a range of abilities including SEN, gifted and talented, as well as A star student GCSE and A level students.
I would adapt to meet the students needs in the sessions, what ever your level I can provide a fun, relaxed but productive environment for you to freely discuss, create and push your work, I am able to help with practical skills with sewing/embroidery and use techniques to inspire more of a journey from ideas to final projects, I also felt so can teach methods to create more interesting...
I am open, reflective, philosophical, creative and hard working. I've learnt a lot over the years from my experience of working creatively in and out of education. Whether your project is part of your studies or something personal, I can be very helpful and supportive in giving you ideas, skills-sharing, focus and motivation for your project.
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” ― Pablo Picasso It's a form of meditation with an endless opportunity to experiment and express yourself. I can provide various forms of art classes which would help to find and free your creative soul.
I like to structure my lessons around relatively simple exercises to improve technique and confidence, alongside theory and art history guidance that will come in useful in future study, and pertains to the topic at hand. I pride myself on being friendly and approachable, and love curiosity in all its forms. I'm currently only looking to tutor hobby students, or those aiming for GCSE level.
I am a very calm person who aims to make people feel welcomed and relaxed. I truly believe in the ability of others and the benefit of art psychologically as a therapy. I want people to see their ability for themselves, so I will strive to push you to achieve your full potential and feel confident in the art you produce. My teaching style is fairly relaxed but I still work hard to guide others.
My teaching method start from the level of student whether he or she is just a beginner or already has reacieved lessons. From there I will have the idea on where to start the lesson. But mostly if you want to be an oil paiter then I will start with teaching you strong drawing foundation then slowly moving on to oil painting.
