My teaching method is structured on each student’s need. In the first meeting I want to learn more about my student, to see their portfolio or drawings, to get a clear picture about what is needed to be taught. Then, depending on the student, I will have special teaching method. I’ve worked with 5 year old children up to 40year olds, so I know how to make a plan for everyone.
My teaching method is fun and inclusive. I like the students to work with me step by step. I am keen to answer questions along the way and I welcome new and insightful ideas, proposals and techniques. It is important that the student develops their own flair when practising art, and that they find their own sense of individuality.
The combination of my patience and knowledge for the subject has taught me how to pass my knowledge onto peers. I will teach people to bring out themselves in their work, rather then pushing my style of work onto them.

With teaching, I like to work on something that the student is passionate about. We all make our best work when we care about it, so ensuring that the student is working with a medium and/or subject matter that they enjoy and care about is paramount to both their learning and progression.
My teaching methods are structured to suit individuals needs and based on their strengths and their areas for improvement. I am mobile and can either travel to students homes or they can come to me. Lessons can take place via Skype and I also offer out door tuition ( weather permitting).
My teaching method is person-centred. I tailor my lessons depending on the needs of the client/student. I can teach traditional drawing techniques as well as abstract paintings. I can combine live music and movements in the lesson where you will draw/paint after moving or painting to a piece of live music I perform.
The duration and direction of our lessons together will depend on your current level of ability and expertise. We can discuss exactly what you would like to get out of your tutorials with an informal consultation so I can create a lesson plan specialised just for you.
My teaching method is to make learning fun and make the impossible possible! I believe that with help always on hand you push yourself to do the unexpected and make unusual decisions as you know mistakes can be corrected with my help.
The student can choose from any of the sketching or painting mediums. She or he will learn the basics of sketching, watercolour, acrylic or charcoal painting techniques. Once the basics are covered, we’ll move on to lessons in painting different subjects. Depending on the level and the interest of the student, they will be encouraged and tutored.
We will go at your pace. Technical and perspective illustration is not the easiest to learn, and I provide patience and guidance at a pace that suits you. I'm a light-hearted and approachable person, so whether you want to learn as a hobby, or you have a bigger project to complete, i'm here to help.
My teaching method is mainly through demonstration and overseeing. I like to work alongside my tutees extensively and help them engage in the subject in way that is enjoyable and informal. My main objective is mainly to get involved with the materials, share techniques and overall have a good enjoyable experience.
My approach depends almost entirely on the student and what they are hoping to get out of the sessions. Depending on what you want to learn or improve upon, we'll do things a little differently. However, I can be relied upon to remain consistent in a few ways: 1. I will always centre the student's experience, desires, and learning style.
My teaching methods depend on the student. First we discuss the topic and talk about the techniques which will be applied. Then the student will begin the task with me giving demonstrations and guidance if the student requested it. If the student is not comfortable with the technique or material then we will choose something which is suited to them.
Depending on the level of the student and goal to achieve my tutoring approach will differ. When teaching children my philosophy is simple: Teach the Basics and let them develop their own unique style and skills. When teaching adults than a more technical approach to the fundamentals of drawing, light, colour and perspective are essential to be taught.
I have a Degree in Fine Art and 30 years experience as a Graphic Designer in the Print industry. I can teach at any level and to any age group.
I have always found that my own work comes from within me, it makes its way into the world through my hands. My brain is constantly ticking and coming up with all kinds of ideas. Sometimes I find it refreshing to step back and experience the artistic world of others. When I work with other people and teach I always encourage a 'free-ness' of thought.
Friendly, understanding, responsive, adjustable and communicative. The best teaching method is the one that your students respond to adjust my methods and strategies in response to students’ ability to learn the material being presented. I think that direct instruction is best used when working with students below grade level.
I provide private painting and drawing tuition for beginners to advanced, children and adults. You can study one-to-one, with a friend or in a group, and each lesson is specifically tailored to your individual needs. A comprehensive lesson to sharpen your life drawing skills and painting skills.
Art should be fun! Adults in particular are often worried that they're "no good at art" because they "don't know how to draw" but I can teach you (a) that this isn't true, and (b) that you can if you want to once you learn how! I work in a variety of 2D and 3D materials and am happy to provide a scheme of work which ups your general skill level or focuses on a particular area of interest or...
I pride myself on delivering highly entertaining and informative tuition. I am methodical in my preparation and spend a great deal of time devising a sylabus. My approach is very hands on, I discuss caricature theory, spending time demonstrating producing a live caricature of someone in the group, before letting the students loose on an unsuspecting subject.
My objective as a teacher is to motivate my students to develop their own interests and creative thinking, stimulate them to develop their talents and help to reach their goals. Our lessons will be intensive and fun at the same time.
Whether working with groups or individuals I like to explore the potential of each student. This may include team or individual projects with emphasis on the needs of each student whether they have some experience or complete beginners.
I aim to improve my students' understanding and use of the formal elements, and build confidence in their abilities. This engenders an openness to experimenting, creating a breadth of more diverse and interesting work. I also help with essay-writing and annotating (the less exciting parts of the course), ensuring that the student can analyse work that is both their own and established artists'.
Ive found its helpful being given examples and inspiration when you are trying to learn about this and practice, so i can reccommend artists for research, offer differnt medium techniques and help you develop creatively as an artist as i do so myself .
I believe anyone can draw. It’s all about imparting the techniques and skills and giving students the confidence to put those into use. With practise and knowledge comes confidence and the ability to expand their creativity.
I do not have a standardized approach but will devise a plan of action according to each individual students strengths and weaknesses and their desired goals, helping them to develop the most creative approaches to the art and design briefs their courses set them.
