About Sylvain
I have graduated from university with a bachelor degree in English literature, English linguistics and English history last year in York. I am taking a break from my studies to get some practical teaching knowledge.
I think I do know quite well what students like or dislike when it comes to learning a subject (especially a language), as I have been studying at university for the last 10 years now (I have also a bachelor degree in accountancy and a master degree in Human resources). I come from Grenoble, the self-proclaimed capital of the Alps; one of the biggest city in the mountain range at the border between France, Italy and Switzerland.

My teaching method is to based heavily on practicing. May it be orally or writtenly, the best way to progress is to be exposed a lot (never enough) to verbal communication and written communication. I center my methodology around giving students the tools to perform an exercise, and then making them use those tool as much as possible, so that they become almost a reflex , and most importantly a basis onto which they can always come back when they have some grammatical or syntaxical doubts.
