About EUNGYEOL
My name is Eungyeol, and I bring a strong background in both education and the arts to my Korean language tutoring. After studying Media and Communication at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, I graduated in Theatre Directing from Sungkyunkwan University and am currently completing a Master’s degree in Event Management in the UK. I have over two years of teaching experience at youth-focused education start-ups such as Freefair and Opensky, and more than four years of tutoring and academy teaching experience. These roles have allowed me to develop a student-centred approach that adapts to different learning needs and goals. In addition, I am a certified Level 1 Performance Planning Specialist, have directed theatrical productions, and worked as a Performance Planning Director at Lotte World, one of Korea’s leading entertainment venues. These professional experiences strengthen my ability to design engaging, structured lessons that combine language learning with cultural insight. With over six years of teaching experience and a rich background in the arts, I am committed to providing professional, supportive, and inspiring Korean lessons for learners of all levels and ages. My goal is to help every student gain confidence, develop practical communication skills, and enjoy the process of learning.

Hello, my name is Eungyeol and I am a passionate Korean language tutor with over six years of teaching experience. I have taught in education start-ups, academies, and private tutoring, helping students of different ages and backgrounds. My teaching approach is interactive and student-focused. I combine structured grammar explanations with conversational practice, cultural insights, and tailored exercises to keep lessons engaging and effective. I believe language learning should be practical, so I encourage students to use Korean in real-life situations as much as possible. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I can adapt the length depending on the student’s needs. I work with **all levels—from complete beginners to advanced learners—**and I welcome both young learners and adults who want to study for academic, professional, or personal reasons. With my background in education, event management, and the arts, I create lessons that are not only informative but also enjoyable and inspiring.
