About Ching Yiu
My experience travelling from Hong Kong to the UK and the difficulties I encountered while studying for my GCSEs in less than a year have made me a resilient and driven person. My comprehension of the things I studied has increased as a result of this experience, which has also improved my capacity to function well in a demanding academic setting. I apply this resiliency and direct knowledge to my role as a tutor, letting students know that I am aware of the difficulties they are facing and that I am capable of supporting them as they navigate their own academic obstacles. My accomplishment in spite of the challenges is evidence of my professionalism, commitment, and capacity to assist pupils in realising their objectives, no matter how difficult they may appear.

During my tutoring sessions, I concentrate on providing students with the necessary tools to face test questions in Sociology and History with confidence. I make sure students can effectively organise their thoughts and provide concise, clear arguments by teaching systematic approaches for question analysis and response. I also grade their practice essays, make notes, point out areas that need work, and offer tips on how to improve their writing in order to give them individualised feedback. My objective is to increase each student's comprehension and self-assurance so they can do well on tests.
Length of lessons : 1 hour
Qualifications: sociology A*(topics that I did:education/family and media/ crime)
History A (topics: Cold War/ Stuart Britain/ nazi germany/ Elizabethan / medicine)
