About Emiliana

Hello, I’m thrilled to be your tutor! My name is [Your Name], and I am currently a tutor at the University of Northampton as well as a student myself, working towards my Ph.D. in Psychology. Being both a tutor and a student keeps me closely connected to the learning process, and I’m passionate about sharing what I know to make your educational journey more rewarding.

I teach because I truly believe in helping students like you grow in your understanding and confidence. My goal is to make learning a positive and enjoyable experience, where you feel empowered rather than stressed. I understand how challenging schoolwork can be, so I aim to create a space that relieves some of the pressure—both for you and your parents. I strive to make learning engaging and fun, which helps with memorization and makes it easier to understand and retain new material.

Ultimately, my mission is to help you succeed in the classroom and beyond, feeling fully prepared and excited to tackle whatever comes your way!

My tutoring approach is tailored to the needs and goals of each student, focusing on fostering both understanding and confidence. Here’s an overview of how I typically structure and deliver lessons:

I employ a mix of interactive and individualized techniques. For younger students, I focus on making learning engaging through games, visual aids, and storytelling, which helps them connect with Forensics and Criminal Investigation in a relatable way. For older students and adults, I use discussion-based and analytical approaches, guiding them to think critically and develop their own perspectives. My methodology emphasizes active participation, as well as fostering independent skills like critical thinking and effective writing strategies.

Lessons generally last between 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the student's age and attention span. For younger students, shorter sessions help maintain focus, while older students or adults may benefit from full-hour lessons where we can dive deeper into complex topics or review written work in detail.

With over 5 years of experience tutoring for students of all ages, my background is rooted in both practical and academic settings. I have experience with Club Z Tutoring, working with children from Kindergarten to high school, and I’ve tutored at the University of Northampton, where I led college students in discussions and helped deepen their understanding of various topics.

My lessons are designed for a wide range of ages and levels, from young children learning to read to high school students preparing for exams, as well as adults improving their professional skills. I work with students at various levels of Forensic and Criminology proficiency, adapting each session to meet them where they are and help them reach their personal or academic goals.
