I teach using direct instruction, which involves worked examples, often requiring students to then answer questions on mini whiteboards. This is followed by independent work where I am there to help with any questions the student may have. I expect students to complete work outside of tutorials and regularly set exam questions or homework for this.
Physics is all about understanding the natural phenomena around us, and using mathematics to help with that. As your tutor, I will firstly help you understand the theoretical concepts by guiding you through each of the concepts step by step, and then use mathematics to link it all together. I also offer personal guidance on IB exam techniques and exam questions, as well as offering IA advice.
I believe every student has a different approach to studying and understanding new concepts. As a tutor, it is my responsibility to figure those out and adapt my teaching style to the student. I hence tend to gauge the student's background knowledge. For example, when going through a mock exam or a past paper with a student, I first ask which questions they need help with.
I'm a motivated and dedicated student Of mechanical engineering with extensive tutoring experience in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics. I’ve been teaching these subjects privately to GCSE/O-LEVEL and Alevel students from 4 years now helping 100's of students achieve their academic goals. I on average manage to get my students achieve 2 grades higher than their predicted grades..
I leave the topics covered entirely up to the student and can help with homework, revise material covered in the preceding week, prepare for exams, help with university preparation or stretch beyond the curriculum. I like to make the student feel comfortable to ask me anything, knowing that I am there only to help them progress.
-I teach lessons to GCSE and A-level students. -Topic explanations and conceptual understanding aim to first be met in lessons through visualization diagrams followed by examples of their applications in real life and finishing off with some example past paper questions. -I rely on making sure students gain a deep understanding of concepts rather than regurgitating notes and equations.
I use personalised tutoring to compliment learners school/college maths lessons by keeping regular communication with the topics covered in class to reinforce core mathematical concepts and revise for specific forthcoming tests/examinations. This has resulted in learners achieving their goals, whether that be moving up a set in school or acceptance into their 1st choice Russel Group University.
I'm happy to teach Maths to anyone up to A-Level standard. I have experience with children from a young age and believe in making lessons enjoyable and relatable so the student is not worried about making mistakes or completing homework but rather feels comfortable with the subject.
My lessons are personally tailored to you and your specific needs, to help you get the best results at all levels of CIE mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus. My lessons will be very conversational, helping you to understand the mathematical concepts.
I am a first year university student. I can give lessons to anyone ranging from year five to sixth form. We will meet either on Skype or in person thrice a week for an hour. The frequency of the sessions might increase based on your level of understanding. We will take the first session to access your level of understanding and go from there.
My name is Jonathan Mason I am a Psychology Graduate and currently study masters of education. I have worked in education for several years now. I have been a teaching assistant and tutor for students with a range of difficulties and challenges and understand the complexities of learning.
I treat each student as an individual, adapting my teaching to their needs as I get to know them and their relationship to maths. I begin by identifying strengths and weaknesses and work on connecting the different skills together in the mind of the learner.
I strive hard to make learning meaningful, and applicable to daily life helping students to understand why Maths is such an important subject for overall life opportunities. My teaching style is structured around firstly identifying current understanding, gaps in knowledge, and then tackling identified issues in a tailored way.
My teaching method is based around getting the best out of my students by adapting to their strengths and weaknesses. When studying i realised I learn best through a mixture of passive learning through videos and tutorials and then actively applying these techniques by doing practice test papers and questions.
I enjoy teaching and do not think of it as a job. I am flexible to the students' needs and do not follow a rigid teaching method. I direct the students to be able to figure out the solutions on their own rather than just helping them with homework.

I am a Masters graduate in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from LSE. I used to teach Microeconomics to second year undergraduates as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. I have trained as an Electrical Engineer and also have an MBA. I am very passionate about teaching and have PhD offers from multiple universities.
My teaching method is adapted to the student's need. It can either be being a step ahead of that what she/he might be studying, reexplaining or catching up. I always tend to divide a lesson between the lesson in itself and the practice as it is more important for a student to practice and to master the material rather than cramming it.
I am a college graduate, who just recently completed my A-levels. I am very passionate about maths and have studied maths and further maths at both GCSEs and A-levels. I achieved A* in both maths and further maths at GCSE. Fuelled by my desire to help others, I served as a mentor for my second year of A-levels but have always assisted my fellow students throughout secondary school and college.
I'm a Masters student and i give my lessons to anyone at all. The technique I use in teaching is I go through basic lessons with you based on the topic you have requested and then i build up on it gradually to make sure you understand every bit of it. I take questions while teaching and give assignment on a regular basis to ascertain some feedback.
Personally I believe the teaching method depends on the student I'm working with. Different people learn in different ways and thus being adaptable to each person's individual needs is key. Technique and Pattern are the core aspects of understanding maths at this level and so would be the starting point of teaching.
I am able to tutor any age and ability with flexible working hours during the week and weekend. I will provide a personalised approach to your learning and always aim make our sessions enjoyable and targeted to your curriculum so that you can take the most from them.

For some people Maths is quite a hard and complex subject due to it's "complication" and hard understanding of it's structure, my name is Ali and i have lots of experience in that field i had to use loads of maths to solve many Engineering concepts, my qualities qualifies me to teach maths to people who would just like to have a better understanding of the subject or people who needs some extra...
I will start with diagnostic tasks and questioning to find out where we're at, then follow up with some appropriate learning tasks. I will then use deliberate practice and interleaving (mixing questions up) to ensure the new knowledge is retained and that it is learning and not just performance that has been improved.
In my experience, it is very important that the student understands the exam skills required. Also, practice makes perfect! I support the student in becoming a more independent thinker, which is crucial in interpreting the exam questions, problem-solving, and developing responses to certain questions.
My method relies on helping the confidence of the student and making students feel understood and comfortable. Maths pr Physics can be difficult to deal with mostly because students feel powerless! I try to understand where the lacks of information is in the previous experiences and start from there.
While at school (in year 12 and 13) I ran a GCSE science club for 20 students by myself where I used to prepare resources in order to tackle challenging topics in their syllabus (GCSE specification) and help the students overcome their challenges.
I prefer teaching from the very core of the subject and just not what is asked for in the syllabus. I choose to introduce the origination every concept or idea because that is how I was taught and I find myself capable of remembering everything word-to-word till today.
