About Amy
I have been in the field of education for over 10 years. I have worked as a substitute teacher, reading interventionist, and special education teacher. I have worked in the self-contained setting and the intervention setting. I really do enjoy help and cheering for struggling students as they make progress. I like for the student to create a goal for us to each and we will work together to obtain the goal. No step is too small toward the goal.

I allow students to give and express themselves during the learning process. If you have trouble with a specific step, we will concentrate on that area. I enjoy working with students in very small groups or on an individual basis. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in special education. I will cheer for you and encourage you to be your best while we work together. I will also tell you with I feel like you are not giving 100%.
