About Aven
I have 3 years of experience teaching piano both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a focus on Pedagogy. My teaching philosophy centers on developing sight-reading fluency and deep score analysis to help students interpret complex classical repertoire with confidence. I adapt my lessons to fit each student’s individual goals and learning style. Alongside technical skills, I incorporate music history, theory, and finger exercises to build a well-rounded musical foundation. I also emphasize period performance practices to bring authenticity to the music we study. I have worked with students ranging from beginners to advanced pianists, as well as professional and expert classical players. My goal is to support each student’s artistic growth and technical mastery. I create a positive, encouraging environment that nurtures both skill and musical expression.
