About Tessa
My name is Tessa, I'm a training Opera Singer. I have been singing all of my life, as well as having learned piano and clarinet. I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma in Music. I am currently completing my Masters of Music at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and have received a lot of private tuition too. I get so much joy out of working with people to learn to sing. And if learning to read music is something you're interested in too, we can do this for sure!

Singing is above all fun and rewarding, I like for my students to feel engaged, encouraged and completely comfortable during lessons. I accept students of all ages and levels and offer lessons for 45 minutes or 1 hour. Lesson structures tend to start with warm-ups and technique work before moving onto relevant repertoire and song choices. I will usually make the technical work directly beneficial to the songs you are working on. I am a Masters of Music Student majoring in Opera Performance, and have studied Classical Voice at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, completing a Graduate Diploma in Music (2021). I am current 2024 scholar with Opera Scholars Australia, and have received private tuition from high-class teachers for over 10 years. Whatever your age or level I would be delighted to teach you to sing and work with you to reach your goals!
