About Samantha
As a pianist and violinist with over two decades of playing and tuition I am able to teach beyond the book in order to develop musicality as well as technique. As a musician having played in orchestras and performed both as a solo and lead an orchestra I am well equipped to help students with their musical development.

Lessons from beginner teaching both physical techniques and creating a musical ear. Expectations of graded exams discussed from the outset with weekly targets and practice times set. Listening questions set each week as an extra layer of tuition for the student.
An expectation to perform a piece once a quarter whether that be in the lesson or in public will allow the student to develop performance skills.
