About Rosie
Hi, I’m a violin tutor with over ten years of experience and a Diploma in Classical Violin. While my foundation is rooted in classical music, my passion lies in exploring the exciting world of crossover violin styles. From Jazz and Rock to Hip-Hop Strings and global musical influences, I love pushing the boundaries of what the violin can do. I use improvisation and looping pedals to help students discover their unique voice on the instrument. My lessons often include creative performance techniques that bring energy, movement, and expression to playing. I guide students in writing their own solos and adapting popular songs they love, turning each session into a blend of fun and discovery. Tone and texture are more than just sounds—they're tools for storytelling. I encourage experimentation so that students can shape their own musical identity.
