Hi, I’m a piano tutor with 12 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Sacred Music, specializing in piano and organ. My training gave me a deep foundation in classical and liturgical music, but I also have a strong passion for historical American styles like ragtime, stride, and early jazz. I love blending academic structure with creative freedom in my lessons. I work with both school-aged students and adult learners, helping each person connect to the style and music that inspires them. Whether you’re learning Scott Joplin’s syncopation or exploring the energy of Fats Waller, I’ll guide you step by step. I focus on good technique, rhythmic precision, and developing strong ears and hands. For younger students, I create engaging lessons that mix structure with fun.
