About Henry
I am a PhD student studying novel ways of promoting low-cost and environment-friendly energy. I have academic background in biochemistry and biotechnology with a BSc and MSc degree respectively. I have been involved in teaching for over 5 years. I have experinence in classroom, small group and one-one tutoring. I engaged 5 students per week who are experiencing learning disabilities and behaviourial challenges. I adopted a friendly and slow-paced 1-1 teaching approach which resulted in a positive response in their academic performance.

I deliever teaching tailored to the needs of my student. I pride in creating various media to help my students understand complex or confusing topics. On one instance when I teaching algebra to a GCSC student, I used objects which the student could relate with to explain why unlike terms cannot be added nor substracted.
I try to be patient with my students and understand their academic needs especially when handling 1-1 or small group tutoring. I exhibit leadership qualities as part of my teaching. I try to motivate my students and be a positive role model.
