I always start from fundamental concepts and build up from that. As I progress with the course I introduce inter-relationships between different topics and give numerous examples to illustrate this. I always ensure that any student is thoroughly familiar with key concepts , understands and can use them.

I am a student at the University of Manchester, doing my masters in business and management. I have been teaching maths in my undergraduate to Secondary school students, O levels, and Bachelors. I worked for an online teaching portal organization NearPeer, where I designed my own course for mathematical economics for students.
I am a PGCE Maths & numeracy graduate from the University of Bolton. I have Civil Engineering background, and I am fluent in French. My teaching approach makes my lessons enjoyable as I always find ways to put Maths lessons in context.
My teaching methodology is to tailor each lesson to the student. I look to engage students in an enjoyable manner whilst maintaining a stern focus on teaching and grasping new concepts. In addition, having achieved 9A*s at GCSE myself, I find it second nature to provide help and easy to understand teaching methods for difficult topics.
Hi, My name is Ryan and I'm here to teach young students mathematics from beginner level up to GCSE. I'm young and also currently a student so I can understand and connect with the troubles that fellow students face with mathematics now-a-days. I can teach general topics to very specific ideas in mathematics.
I am 21 years old so I am very patient with my students. Due to the small age difference, I get really friendly with my students so they get more comfortable around me and can easily talk with me through any troubling section in the syllabus.
As a Masters student, I am wiling to teach basic programming principles to First and Secon year Computer Science students. I offer Mathematics lessons to GCSE or A-Levels students. Levels below GCSE are also welcome.
I prepare notes and question beforehand and go through past papers mostly. This, I think, is the best way to approach revision for Maths as it's important to get used to questioning/exam styled questions and learn the methodology needed. I am chilled and like to have a laugh but the right balance of relaxation and seriousness towards studies needs to be recognised.
I am a top Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Manchester. I have just finished my second year and I am giving lessons in Maths and Physics for A-levels over the summer only. Feel like starting your preparation early to avoid stress? The lesson is based on your level, target and available time and I will work together with you to create the learning strategy that fits you best.
My teaching methods for this particular subject vary. From personal experience, using CDs which have topic related videos work very well for step to step methods. Once a student can understand how that certain method works, doing practice questions will develop their knowledge and then past papers will help prepare for examinations.
As a tutor I like to explain the concepts followed by lots of examples. I set selected examples for the student do. I set home work which is important. As the student progresses the questions gets harder.
Fascinated with the world around me I am a 2nd-year electronic engineering student with strong physics and mathematics background. In my free time, I enjoy basketball, hiking and making things. Having learned from the amazing teachers I've had I am a friendly tutor, who keeps learning light and fun by throwing in some silly phrases.
Try to understand the problem and then analyse the concept.
Primarily, I like to find out specifically what the student is struggling with and what they are good at within the subject, so I may give them a general aptitude maths test, containing problems from a range of different areas within maths.
Myself Sreyash, I've completed my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with 8 GPA. I always scored 100% marks in Maths throughout my career. I've started my postgraduation in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Manchester. University student studying engineering. My teaching methods would be note taking and excessive amounts of past papers and questions to enhance the students understanding and give them confidence for their exams. Repetitiveness is key in teaching as it gives a clearly outline of improvement.
To teach maths effectively i will deliver a concise lesson and plan exercises to be completed by the student. In maths i believe it is important to pick up all the concepts early on, these form strong foundation for students to build on. Hence, my method of teaching will ensure understanding through rigorous practice.
My undergraduate degree was a triple major BSc in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. I am currently an MSc by Research student of astrophysics at the university of Manchester. Hello prospective students! I have recently completed the International Baccalaureate, completing the programme in 2017. I am currently attending the University of Manchester, studying BSc International Business, Finance and Economics.
I explain the formula and show an example. Then I let the student solve more math problems and help them where they're stuck. After a break or the next day, I make them solve similar problems as this makes the memory strong.
I am a postgraduate student at the Alliance Manchester Business School and I have had previous experience in academic tutoring at Carnegie Mellon University for 3 years during my undergraduate degree. I provided tutoring services in Math, English, Business and Finance and Philosophy subjects.
I am a 20 year old engineering student who has achieved A standard grades in A-Level and GCSE maths and Physics, My lesson style will be simply addressing the students concerns, I use a lot of analogies in my explanations as I find sometimes with maths and physics it's exceptionally difficult trying to comprehend it in context, so I allow them to look at it from a different perspective that gets...
I am studying Materials engineering at the University of Birmingham. I give lessons to students in Secondary school and college. My lesson structure is to give the aims of the lesson and to then teach the student the topic of the lesson. Hello, thank you for visiting my profile. If you are looking for a tutor in any of the subjects outlined, you have come to the right place. I am an articulate and professional individual, yet also very down-to-earth and easily approachable. I appreciate that everybody learns differently and that there is no "one size fits all" rule when it comes to engaging a student.
Hi, I am Cal, a current undergraduate at The University of Manchester who is reading Physics with Theoretical Physics. I give lessons in Maths and Physics from A level down to Key Stage 2. I am very flexible. Lessons are based on the questions you give or I can supply the questions based on an unfamiliar topic.
I teach on the basis of practical applications. I use excel sheets and discuss most of the practical application with the child for them to understand better and apply when they learn. I give importance to every student in the class and keep everyone on the same page. I can repeat the same concept unless everyone understands it.
I'd like to build lessons personal to the tutee and how they learn best. Personally I prefer to teach the methodology of the topic first and then give some practise questions to the students so they can test their own ability.
