About Nicholas
My name is Nick and I live in NYC. I have a strong background in Linguistics and applied linguistics. I studied undergrad at Berkeley and continued into the grad program specializing in Computational Linguistics. Shortly after, I was brought to Amazon to work on AI voice modeling systems. Since then, I have worked in the AI space and now am the Director of AI for a company on the East Coast - applying linguistics daily to build intelligent systems.

If you are taking linguistics courses such as phonology, phonetics, historical ling, or even intro to linguistics, I have a background that can help you tackle difficult problems. I studied linguistics at UC Berkeley - specializing in computational linguistics and documentation of endangered languages of the Brazilian Amazon. I also completed a Master's in Software engineering with a focus in NLP. I currently hold about 5 publications in various fields of linguistics.
