can u discribe some properties of solids and liquids please

Answers
Solids: Keep their shape unless they are broken Do not flow like a liquid, or expand to fill the entire volume available like a gas Cannot be compressed (keep the same volume) Liquids Do not keep their shape They flow Cannot be compressed (keeps the same volume) Often expand when heated and contract when cooled Two liquids mix together and diffuse into each other to make a new type of liquid Can turn into a gas or a solid, depending upon the forces exerted on it. Heated high enough, they will vaporize and turn into a gas, and cooled enough will solidify.
