something like this: solid liquid gas keeps its shape yes/no yes/no yes/no keeps its volume yes/no yes/no yes/no flows yes/no yes/no yes/no how dense it is which one is most dense, least dense? A good way to think about this is to get a solid, like a lump of wood or a tin, a liquid .. like water and a gas .... well, that's all around you, because air composed of gases. Then think about the answer to each question in relation to them.
