Circle Equation
Find the equation of the circumscribed circle of the triangle formed by three lines given by x+y=6, 2x+y=4 and x+2y=5.
Answers
One approach that might work is: solve the "simultaneous" equations of the lines to find the points they intersect. This gives you 3 points that must satisfy the general equation of a circle. (x+a)^2+(y+b)^2=R^2. Three unknowns, a,b,R, and three equations you can construct using those three points.
