To find the modal group all you need to do is check which group has the highest frequency

The median is a bit complicated and involves you working out the cumulative frequency (adding up the frequencys from each group). When you have done this you need to divide the total by 2 (middle value) and check to see which cumulative frequency value is the first that is higher than the total divided by 2.
