The number which occurs most often in a list of numbers is the mode, if there are 2 numbers which are the most common we say that the distribution (list) is "bimodal", ie has 2 modes. Interestingly there are 3 10s, 3 17s & 3 9s, ie, there are 3 modes, which technically means that the distribution is "trimodal", although I have seen gcse textbooks where anything more than 2 modes is counted as not having a mode, so take your pick, it depends upon how technical your maths teacher is. (Look up "trimodal" on the internet if you don't believe it exists.)
