SURDS???

gcse tomorrow, need help! 🙁 literally anything, basic, hard, fractions, times ANYTHING

Ok so to rationalise a fraction which has a surd in its denominator all you have to do is multiply it by the 'whole' equivalent of the fraction for example....

then the denominator becomes 2 and the numerator becomes
