With over ten years of teaching experience and a **Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Voice Major)**, I am passionate about guiding singers to achieve their full vocal potential. I specialise in preparing students for **auditions, competitions, and stage performances**, helping them approach every opportunity with confidence and skill. My lessons cover a range of styles—**Classical, Broadway, Pop-Rock, and Music Theatre**—ensuring every student can explore and excel in the genres they love. I focus on the fundamentals that matter most: **diction, range development, vocal agility, and repertoire selection**, paired with **dramatic interpretation** that brings performances to life. Whether you’re a school student preparing for your first recital, a drama major chasing your next role, or an adult singer returning to music, I tailor my teaching to meet your needs and goals. Our sessions combine technical training with creative exploration, balancing healthy vocal technique and expressive artistry. For **The Crossover Artist**, versatility is key—classical precision, pop agility, and jazz improvisation all converge, demanding fluid vocal control and stylistic awareness. Both personas train their **pitch control** with metronomes and pitch-training apps, making daily practice more precise and engaging. Classical scales build discipline; pop exercises sharpen agility; jazz scat drills free the voice for improvisation. Modern **DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations)** allow them to record, listen back, and analyse tone, phrasing, and vibrato—turning every session into a self-feedback loop. Each genre requires subtle **adaptation of technique**: light, airy tones for jazz; crisp diction for classical; expressive phrasing for pop and gospel. Breath support, dynamic range, and ear training weave these elements together, ensuring the voice remains healthy while expanding stylistic reach. This methodology doesn’t just teach singing—it **teaches flexibility**.
