I spent my earlier years in education in Devon, attending a girls grammar school. From there, I went to university to study Business Economics. After a year in graduate management, I decided to study for a PGCE in Primary Education.
So far I have had a wide range of teaching experience, including supply work, class teaching and overseas positions in private schools in Egypt and Australia. Whilst in Australia I studied to transfer some of my skills to Early Years education.
I specialise in Music and have held many positions as head of choir, director of school productions and the like. In my own time, I still like to play the piano and also play in a rock band.
Now living back in the UK with a family, I still adore teaching and working with children. There is never a more rewarding experience than passing on your knowledge to others. I enjoy making learning accessible to everyone and most importantly making it fun!
