About Mila
I’ve spent more than 9 years teaching piano and helping students step into meaningful performance roles. With an Associate of Music in Piano Skills, I combine formal training with hands-on experience. My background includes working with students preparing for church worship leadership, theater productions, and professional wedding performances. I know how to make lessons practical and applicable to real-life music opportunities. My teaching style is motivating and student-centered. I focus on building confidence and developing artistry. For worship pianists, I teach how to play with sensitivity and support the flow of a service. For theater, I emphasize timing, listening, and communication with cast and directors. For wedding settings, I guide students in balancing elegance with reliability. I create lessons that fit each student’s personality and learning style. No two musicians are exactly the same, so no two lessons should be either. My greatest joy is seeing students excel in the roles they care about most.

I believe piano should feel connected to everyday music, especially the songs you know and love. My teaching style is focused on pop piano, modern chord progressions, and arranging. We practice using rhythm, groove, and style to capture the feel of modern music. Lessons are motivating and designed to get you playing complete songs.
