About Lara
With 7 years of experience teaching piano, I’ve helped students discover not just how to play, but why music matters. My approach is both structured and creative—focused on long-term growth without sacrificing the joy of music-making. I believe in balanced instruction. Each lesson includes technical practice, musical expression, and thoughtful reflection. My training spans classical theory, modern harmony, and hands-on performance, and I use this to shape well-rounded musicians who enjoy learning at every level. Outside of lessons, I stay engaged in piano performance and composition projects, allowing me to bring real-world musical insights into every session. I support each student’s ambitions while keeping lessons fun, relevant, and thoughtfully paced.

This piano course is tailored to blend musical structure with expressive freedom. In early stages, students learn note reading, hand posture, finger independence, and rhythmic accuracy. Technique-building is reinforced with beginner pieces and simple études to develop control and musicality. Mid-level learners progress into key signatures, pedal use, and artistic dynamics. They study pieces from different eras—baroque to jazz—building interpretive skills and repertoire variety. Practice includes theory exercises, listening drills, and short improvisation prompts to encourage well-rounded development. Students are guided at their pace with structured lesson plans and goal tracking. Whether aiming for performance, composition, or personal enjoyment, lessons create a strong technical foundation while encouraging each student’s unique musical voice to grow confidently.
