About Alex
Hi, my name is Alex and I am a 2nd Year Aerospace Engineering student, currently at Swansea University. I am very interested in planes (my favourite being the Antonov AN-225!).
I did Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A level, and found them very enjoyable, and loved expanding my knowledge. Having not done so well in my GCSEs, I strived to be better, and through a large change in my revision style and learning techniques, I was able to do very well in my A levels. I wish I had changed my ways sooner, and hope to be the person I never had to other students. I truly believe that everyone deserves a chance to reach their potential and smash their exams!
In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, and I love playing Tennis, as it keeps me fit, and lets me socialise with my friends! I also like football, supporting my team Huddersfield Town (even when they're hard to watch!)

I can adapt to any student, and have taught multiple styles of teaching, and will engage at whatever pace the student is most comfortable. My lessons work best over an hour, but can do exam papers in a 2 hour session. I have worked both online and face to face with tutoring, with an in date DBS, and proven results from multiple levels of ability.
My speciality is GCSE maths, especially students who may be struggling. I can also do GCSE physics and chemistry, of which I have extensive knowledge of the exam boards, specifically, AQA, Edexcel, WJEC and OCR.
I don't believe in a particular methodology, as each student has their unique way of learning concepts, and I will use my skills to help the student in the most effective way.
