About Milonna
I am a current high school senior from the Greater Pittsburgh Area of Pennsylvania. I will begin attending Washington & Jefferson College beginning in Fall 2019. I have taken many advanced courses, including but not limited to AP Biology, Biomedical Science, Human Body Systems, Medical Interventions, Honors English, and French I, II, III, and IV. I am currently in the following college in high school courses: Anatomy/Physiology, Statistics, Psychology, and Sociology. I am a recipient of Project Lead the Way + AP's Biomedical Science Achievement Award for high scores on three Biomedical Science courses. I am self-teaching myself Japanese and calligraphy, which has helped me develop self-teaching methods.

I approach each lesson by first allowing the student to explain what they already know and what they expect to learn. From there, I design a customized plan based on the student's specific needs. I try to engage students and make sure their questions are answered sufficiently by the end of the lesson.
