About Iris
I am a tutor with over 8 years of experience in physics and hold a BSc in Physics with Computational Science. My focus is on making abstract topics such as thermodynamics and statistical mechanics both clear and exciting. I use virtual labs and simulations to help students see theories unfold in real time. This method makes concepts like entropy, energy transfer, and microscopic interactions much more accessible. I enjoy connecting mathematical theory to everyday phenomena such as engines, refrigerators, or even a cooling cup of coffee. My teaching is built on visualising ideas that are often hidden from direct observation. Students benefit from clear explanations, detailed models, and guided experiments.
