I have been playing professionally as well as teaching privately and in schools since graduating in 2012. I have explored various methods of teaching such as Colourstrings and Dalcroze.
I am a university student, future Biomedical scientist . I graduated IB and right now I am teaching some students from Spain and Italy. I am highly familiar to IB and A level as well as GSCE. I am using the vest books video tutorials and I have full access of Academic files.
I will support you or your child with Music & Music Theory exams and coursework, from GCSE to Degree Level. I also teach 'instant instrument learning', the ability to play an instrument after just a few sessions.
During tutorials I help students with all aspects of writing an essay, from finding a suitable topic, developing their research skills, learning how to use online & library resources, planning and structuring an essay, communicating ideas clearly & effectively, improving writing skills, to editing their own work. I can also teach revision skills, dissertation writing and time management.
I believe in learning by practice. After explaining any part I would solve with my students plenty of examples and practice on past papers. Also, I would like always to link the maths with what my students are planing to do in future to prove that we use maths in our daily life.
I offer lessons to A-level standard students and below, focusing on Maths, Further Maths and Physics. My teaching methods involve setting students a challenging question and working through it with them, allowing them to develop the problem-solving skills required in higher education.
I base my classes depended on the clients needs and requirements. I try not to overload within knowledge however if you are the type of student that wants lots of information and knowledge, that that is catered for also.
I will be using specific exercises focusing on the most difficult sounds of Italian (the sound "gli", for example), aiming on clearing the sound, opening up the vowels, strengthening the double consonants and making you perfect Italian speakers.
My teaching method is always tailored to my specific students, along with what they would like to achieve.
My teaching methods are mostly student lead (by that i mean focusing on their needs). I like to break down complicated things in to their simplest form and explaining them in a way that make sense for everyone and differentiated to cater for everyone.
I tend to tutor via Skype, which involves preparing in advance to ensure my students receive structured lessons. The first session consists of a 'traffic light' system whereby my student considers which topics they are most/least confident in. I then analyse which learning style suits my student best and then design a tutoring programme based on this; every student is individual.
My teaching method is flexible and dependent on the needs of the student. If the student is preparing for an exam the approach will be more general to try and cover all topics needed. Instead if a student needs explanations to further understanding on a specific topic then the class will have a more focused and narrow approach.
I have mainly taught my previous company's employees. It was a cafe and some chalets in the French Alps and most staff was English. I was tutoring the cafe and chalet staff in group lessons and and private lesson. From teaching the team in the cafes, other English locals decided to join the lessons.
As a tutor, it is important to me that my students feel their individual needs are recognised. I base my teaching plans on my students' curriculum, but invite input from students on where they require extra support. I adapt sessions as we go along, in response to my own assessment of students' strengths and difficulties.
My lessons content depends on the level and the ambition of my students. I can either make you discover music at a basic level in a fun way or train experienced musicians with a more technical content.

I give lessons to photography students or anyone wishing to learn about storytelling through photography. I give examples of work by other photographers to illustrate a range of visual styles and project approaches.
I like to adapt my teaching method depending on the wishes, motivations and requirements of the individual. I have put many students through ABRSM board exams and some through the Trinity board. I have helped students through GSCE and equivalent exams with their performance and theory.
I am a further education (post 16) sports lecturer. I have direct experience of teaching A level PE, and BTEC foundation and extended certificate/diploma in sport. I like to ensure students are provided with all the information required to fully understand the topic area. I set students exam style questions to ensure their newly acquired knowledge is applied.
One word: personalisation. We'll focus on what you need and what you want.
My teaching method is quite simple and straight. I would like to teach 4 to 6 level. however, I also can teach introductory Modules such as HRM, Management, Marketing etc. as a PhD student, I consider myself very passionate for the difficult situations such as if the student gets stuck in solving or understanding, and he/she needs extra help, I may provide extra attention towards the problem.
It's all based on methodology, imagery, sounds and lucidity. We are going to find how your memory works best and then, I will provide you with mnemonics so your results stick with you. I find going from theory to customisable practice is the best way to study a foreign language.
I have always nurtured a love for languages and different cultures. As a tutor, I am keen to pass my enthusiasm onto any prospective students, understanding that the lessons must be designed to your needs. I have experience and in depth knowledge of written English from my degree but my teaching philosophy focuses primarily on creating real-life speaking situations.
Having been an au pair 4 times, I am aware that patience is a key word, especially because French is one of the hardest language to learn. I first teach easy words (colours, animals, etc) and their pronunciation and then go onto actual spelling, vocabulary, rules..
I am truly passionate about languages and I am myself fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. My brain is a language center and my methods are easy to follow, integrating a variety of interactive materials to englobe all aspects of language learning. I adapt to my student and can cater for all levels and ambitions.
I have a BA (Hons) Drama and Literature, PGCE (Secondary English Teacher) - teaching KS3/4/5 (age 11 to 19). Taught in Comprenhensive mixed schools and currently teaching in Private School - English Language and English Literature - Head of English Department Department.
I always follow bibliography to my lessons: the structure and the progression designed for some editorial are very interesting to follow. This is because this kind of bibliography starts with elementary resources to fix a proper base, and it is increasing the difficulty gradually.
