About Salma
I am Salma, current English student at Cambridge University and above all, lover of literature. I am passionate and deeply knowledgeable about the subject and want nothing more than to see you make significant improvements and reach your full potential in it. I have helped students jump up as high as four exam grades, in the case of a GCSE student I had last year, and find the process of teaching incredibly rewarding. I am personable, enthusiastic, and never judgmental!

I create a detailed, fully bespoke tutored program aligned carefully with each student’s needs and the nature of the curriculum they are studying. My ultimate goal is to see each student reach their maximum potential, and 2 years of tutoring experienced has equipped me with the requisite tools to do so. In my first year studying at Cambridge, I achieved a First Class Honours result, ranking 14th out of 182 students. I achieved the highest grades possible in my English GCSEs and A-levels, and combine deep knowledge of and love for literature with pedagogical know-how. I am very familiar with the GCSE, A-level, iGCSE, and International Baccalaureate curricula and have experience both taking and tutoring the first two. My lessons are typically one hour long and consist of active engagement with the material - I am firmly against reading off a PowerPoint!
