About Emma
My aspiration is to become a university professor. To this end, I am pursuing my doctorate in physics from Oxford and have been teaching for several years. My goal is to develop my communication and teaching skills, as every student is unique and requires individual attention. When I’m not working, I love to spend time outdoors, rowing, climbing, or running.

I came into my beginner-level coding class with zero experience, and honestly, I was completely lost at first. I felt like everyone around me already knew what they were doing, and I was just trying to keep up. But having Emma as my tutor made such a huge difference. She was so patient and never made me feel dumb for not understanding something right away. Instead of just giving me the answers, she took the time to break things down in a way that actually made sense. She’d walk me through problems step by step until I got it, and that gave me so much more confidence. I don’t think I would’ve made it through the course without her help.
Emma is a remarkable tutor!! After our tutoring sessions, my Maths grades started improving, she’s very patient & explains all concepts with great clarity. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a Maths tutor.
