About Benson
My existence came as a coin flip. I grew up as a single child in a single-parent household, raised by a zero-generation mother from a third world country that didn't know how parent nor speak English, living in poverty conditions eating "chip sandwiches" as meals. Most of my childhood was spent watching TV, playing video games, and being morbidly obese at over 230 lbs by the age of 15.
I had zero advantages and plenty of disadvantages to start.
Today, I'm 30 years old with a Bachelor's degree from a highly respected University, working for an amazing Fortune 100 company, with a wonderful partner, and great friends that I can rely on.
Statistically, where I am today would've been a less than 1% occurence. I'm no special snowflake and if I can get to where I am today, so can you.
