About Sophia
I have always had a knack and a fascination with the English language. So, I made sure that I understood and excelled in every English class I took. I quickly aced my AP English Language and AP English Literature classes, and I took this passion with me to college.
I graduated with honors from Bard College in NY and I have championed a career in writing and editing since my 3rd year.
I know, understand, and consume the English language because I have a genuine love for it. If you don't have a passion for it too, I'll at least show you what's great about it through your lessons.

I try to be very patient and thoughtful when a student has trouble understanding something in a certain way or context. I will listen to your thoughts and concerns and work through them with you.
I have tutored people from elementary school to college and helped my students receive their top marks.
