About Char
I want to tutor because I understand firsthand how transformative it can be. Throughout high school, tutoring played a crucial role in significantly improving my grades, sharpening my skills, and enhancing my overall academic performance. The guidance I received not only boosted my confidence but also inspired me to strive for excellence. Now, I am passionate about giving back by helping others achieve their goals, just as my tutors helped me achieve mine.

I understand that every person is very different and so I try to adapt to how they work best, its my number one priority to make lessons engaging and genuinely fun. This includes talking to the student to understand what they find holds them back in a class, why they may be struggling and what way of learning works the best. For me for example, through tutoring myself, I learnt that doing essay plans under time worked well for me to become more sharp and precise, and so would spend alot of time with my tutors doing this as it kept me engaged. So for me, my teaching will differ for everyone, dependant on their needs, while still remaining productive and structured.
Lesson length will be the length that the student needs, typically this is around 1-2 hours twice a week, however differs for everyone.
I have experience in tutoring through doing peer tutoring at my school for younger students. I am also employed by a local buissness in my town tutoring students from year 7 above.
My lessons are for anyone in year 7 and above, for Modern History, PDHPE, Biology, English Advanced, and Maths Standard. however for years 11 and 12 this is only for HSC. Year 7-10 includes any level of maths and english.
