About Sam
Hi, my name is Sam and I am a Music Performance Student at BIMM Manchester. I have been playing the guitar for over 9 years, both in bands and as a solo artist. I have completed my Grade 8 electric guitar exam and have an A Level in Music. I have had previous experience teaching both beginners and more advanced students. I look forward to being able to share my passion for the guitar with future students!

I have had previous experience teaching both beginners through to advanced students. For beginners, basic skills such as reading tab, standard notation and playing chords and scales will be covered as building blocks of your guitar journey. I can also teach more advanced topics such as sight reading, ear training, transcribing, extended chords, exotic scales and modes and more complex jazz harmony.
Music theory will be taught to all abilities in such a way that it is both interesting and relevant to the guitar.
