About Olivia
Hi, I'm Olivia! I am a current sophomore at New York University. As a Liberal Studies student, I have used my writing skills to develop ideas, arguments, and observations about different cultural texts and historical pieces, allowing me to excel at using the English Language as a form of expression, both creatively and academically.
I am an extremely patient, warm, and approachable tutor who wants to see you succeed. I've had years of experience in after-school tutoring and have been a part of a program directed at welcoming high school freshmen and mentoring them through their adjustment to high school.

I typically like to begin with general prompts that will allow for a free write to warm the student up. I then like to work on reading comprehension by reviewing texts and passages that we can annotate and discuss together, some of which I have collected through past writing and AP English courses.
I am open to tutoring anyone from Elementary School to High School, regardless of level or grade, and am open to constructing a curriculum or tutoring method that fits you! Whether you need help writing an essay, developing a creative story, or simply getting better at reading, I am ready to help you in your journey.
