About Connor
I am an undergraduate Physics student at the university of York. I will be in Hartlepool for the summer period, where I am offering lessons in my strongest subjects, maths and Physics.
I have experience with A level Physics, maths and further maths having achieved an A, A* and A respectively. I have experience with undergraduate Physics and the relevant maths from the 1st and 2nd year of my course.

I am studying my MPhys degree at the University of York and I am offering maths and physics lessons to student at A level or lower.
My lessons will be focused on the most problem topics for each individual student and focused so as to not provide information not required for their exams or current level.
It can be difficult to understand a topic if you are told, ‘this is just how it is’ therefore, wherever possible, I will provide a little background to help with understanding. I will then work through examples with the pupil before providing questions for them to try themselves and I will of course help when they become stuck or have a question.
Often it only takes one sentence to allow understanding, but practice is the best way to make an idea stick. There can be many different variations of the same question that can sometimes lead to even more questions, so I would like to cover many different possibilities to reduce problem areas.
Above all I will be patient as I know from personal experience it can take time for something to sink in but you can get there in the end.
