I deeply love maths, science, and computer science. My lessons would be most beneficial for students who share my love, or for students who hate these subjects but need to learn them well, and everything in between. I am particularly excited to work with you if you are keen to ask questions and I promise I will treat every question with respect and the best answer I can give. A normal structure for a lesson will consist of identifying an area to work on, modelling problems in this area with increasing complexity while sharing my mindset for approaching these problems. We would then move on to guided practice, where I will question you extensively what you are doing why so that I can guide you to understand the content, not just know it. I strongly believe that the goal of education is to learn to think in different ways, but also that learning specific content is an important stepping goal in this process. I also believe that it is very important to work at a student's pace. I will push you as fast as I think you can go, but I will always spend as much time as it takes making sure you have learnt the content, and not move on just because something is taking too long.

Mr. D'Alterio was my physics teacher in high school, and he was amazing. He has an incredibly in-depth understanding of physics, and he could always explain complicated things in a way I could understand. Mostly because if I didn't get it the first time, he'd come up with a different example. Mr. D'Alterio changes his teaching style to work for you. He doesn't just teach you a bunch of formulas to memorize, he shows you how it connects back to the real world. Plus he will answer all your questions even if they seem dumb. Like, if you want to know the physics behind Spiderman swinging from building to building, he would definitely answer that. Mr. D'Alterio is a wonderful teacher and I highly recommend him.
He is one of the best teacher I had. He help students until they are satisfied and completely understand the concept. He is always patient and you don’t feel like you are frustrating him. Even though physics is hard, his enthusiastic tone makes the class more engaging.
Kristopher was my first physics teacher and he was great. He made the content interesting and easy to understand. He pushed me to learn new concepts while making sure I understood everything. Would recommend.
I know Kris from college. Our curriculum was structured so that engineering and science majors spent the first year in mostly the same foundational classes. There, I saw Kris was among the brightest minds of our entire generation. Having lived all over the globe, Kris also has interesting stories to tell and is able to understand where people are coming from in discussions. One of the first things I learned about Kris was his passion for teaching and tutoring. When you combine that kind of passion and dedication with smarts Kris has, you get the best possible Superprof tutor.
