I help to prepare monologues for auditions, look at acting technique, work on scenes, tackle Shakespeare and classical text, explore acting through song, and refine audition technique. This can be at any level, for any age. (Ideal for drama school applicants)
I work creatively, workshopping material to unlock creative potential rather than formally directing. This way the individual can make exciting discoveries and will leave with a wealth of options and choices to make on their scripts. My priority is to create a relaxed environment with no pressure, where we can work together with ease to explore the text in new ways.
Confidence building, creativity, communication, and expression are all at the centre of my practice. All of these are the key to success, and the key to being the best actor you can be.
I work with 8 to 80 year olds, all at different levels and experiences. If you'd like a one-off session or ongoing ones, get in touch to have a chat!
Phoebe is one of our best tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

Perfect! Phoebe has been a huge help to me with working on audition monologues, and I would 100% recommend her. She has helped me to interpret the text, to stage it in fresh and creative ways and to work on my delivery skills. Phoebe is very encouraging and an all-round lovely person to work with.
Giverny was great to work with! We workshopped her speech for around an hour and unlocked a lot of exciting potential. She was much more confident with her speech by the end and had realised a lot of creative choices she could make. Fantastic work!
Perfect! My daughter is very happy to work with phoebe
Impressed over all and excited to learn
I found Phoebe on Superprof to get help with my National Youth Theatre auditions. We worked on my monologue and spoke about the audition process. We worked through mock exercises which I might expect in the audition, and she taught me a lot about how to be confident and come across like that. We worked for 2 hours and the time flew. She gave me loads of feedback and was so lovely and positive. By the end my monologue felt tons better. And best of all... I GOT INTO NYT! Thank you so much Phoebe x
I am currently in the process of applying for drama school - something I didn’t believe I could do. I live in Manchester but recently moved to London and Phoebe has honestly be a godsend. Not only has she assisted me technically, building my confidence and improving my natural ability but she has also provided me comfort and advice on being a working actor in London. I just hope she still has availability should I be successful with my application as I have really enjoyed our meetings and can’t wait to continue!
I found Phoebe through Superprof, and she helped me work on a monologue for an audition. Phoebe was an incredible tutor, I would highly recommend her. She was friendly and approachable, and well prepared for the lesson. We did a number of different exercises, which helped me to completely rethink the monologue. I left feeling energised and inspired.
I highly recommend Phoebe! I had been looking for a tutor for a while and couldn't find anyone I was comfortable with. I found Phoebe through a friend who had recommended her to me & I sent her a message. I was really struggling with my confidence and technique and Phoebe helped source and resolve the issues I was having. I didn't feel like I was with a teacher, more like a friend that really wanted to help me out. We had a lot of fun & I learned so much, really valuable stuff. There isn't any pressure or assumptions of natural ability and she really made me feel like I could achieve what I wanted to and for me and my confidence that was really important and I really look forward to and hope we can work together again!
Phoebe is an excellent tutor. She has a really good knowledge of English. She's really sensitive to the syllabus and details of GCSE but also very good with basics (grammar, spelling etc). Perfect for kids of any age!
