About Xavier
I am a teacher, performer and researcher with an emphasis on corporal and scenic preparation for instrumental technique. (Flute, accordion - Guitar - Musical initiation) I have an important experience as a flutist in the most renowned classical music orchestras of Bogotá - Colombia; Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá and National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia. I also have great versatility as a performer of various musical styles such as Jazz, contemporary, modern and Latin American music. I have more than 10 years of experience as a youth and adolescent teacher.

I like to listen to music, rhythm and the body. I am the manager and director of the project "LAPSOS" Body Rhythmic Research Laboratory, and a member of the Organic Appropriation of AOR Rhythm research nucleus. A practice that promotes actions that encourage and stimulate creative listening to share and exchange knowledge, in a respectful, loving and empathetic way. I offer advice in English and Spanish.
A session consists of 3 moments;
1. An introductory activity to be comfortable and focused physically and mentally.
2. Presentation or development of a technical aspect.
3. Creative development around this technical aspect.
