I had Kritika as a lab instructor in college. She was able to make complex things very simple. She never made me or anyone feel stupid for asking questions rather she encouraged and fostered and environment where each person was able to thrive. I think having an instructor like Kritika made, what could have been something to dread, something that I looked forward to. In labs, she demonstrated and explained what we needed to do then would take questions from the group, and verify that we understood. She would go around to the groups, and see if anyone needed help, or had questions. She allowed for us to be honest in what we didn’t know and educated us in the answers she gave. She is very good at working with people from various cultures as she naturally cares about people and demonstrates that she works towards bettering her interpersonal communication skills as well. I learned some of the most valuable, technical aspects I use in my career today, along side great lab memories.
