Precal Question

The triangle shown in the figure is a right triangle with one vertex on the graph y = f(x), where f(x)=8sqrt(x). Express the angle θ as a function of x, where 0

there's a link to the graph.

I appreciate any and all help, I have no clue where to begin. thanks!

Let the vertex be point Q and the other point of the triangle be R. The coordinates of Q are (x, 8 root(x)). So can you obtain an expression for the length QR? (hint: pythagoras.) The length of QP is easier to work out. Knowing those two lengths enables you to write down an expression for Sin theta. Can you do the next (last) step?
