heat and energy transfer

What can you say about the rate of heat energy transfer in an object that is at the same tempreature as it's surroundings

Heat will only flow from a hot object to a cold(er) one.

heat energy of the object will remain the same as it is in a state of equilibrium (stable - not needing to change)

Heat - a flow of energy from a hot object to a cold object. When two objects with different temperatures are in contact with each other, heat flows from the hotter system to the colder one. Heat is a measure of energy.
