If you are someone who learns like me, by visualization; creating a mind map could be extremely helpful. I never used to do them because i liked my notes neat and i can not write in a straight line without any lines, but they actually worked for me this year.
Write the basics on one page and learn that and when you are in the exam you think of what was on the mindmap and that should lead to all the facts of whatever word/phrase was on the mind map.

Additionally, working with a partner can also be effective.
I would be happy to help you with this if you still require some help.

either revise with friends, use sticky notes, use a mind map because the brain works better and remembers things better when using a mind map. And also use pictures to help you remember things better as your brain learns better visually as well another thing is not to try remembering what your saying word for word as you may find it difficult what you an do is to talk about it to your self because then you put it in your own words and you remember it better that way. i hope this helped you :)
